Axcis Education work with a further education college in Coventry for young people with complex disabilities, learning difficulties, autism and physical disabilities. ** Job Description ** - Support the planning of person-centered learning activities and develop an understanding of the specific needs of the learners to be supported. - Provide one-to-one and small group support for learners. - Promote good positive behaviour at all times. - Establish a constructive relationship with learners, colleagues and parents/carers. ** Responsbilities ** - Contribute to the development and maintenance of a positive culture that embeds the College's values and beliefs. - Prevent a positive "can do attitude" attitude and take personal responsibility for own actions. - Be responsible for taking all appropriate measures to safeguard young people and promote their welfare. - Support learners to improve their maths and English skills through everyday experiences.
