Salary: £89 – £105 per day / £445 – £525 per week
Axcis Education is recruiting for a resilient and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in Nuneaton with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviour. This 1:1 role is ideal for someone experienced in trauma-informed approaches.
The Role:
You will:
• Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with SEMH needs.
• Implement behaviour plans and de-escalation strategies.
• Build strong, positive relationships and act as a role model.
• Support emotional regulation and engagement with learning.
• Collaborate with SENCOs, teachers, and external professionals.
About You:
• Experience supporting SEMH or challenging behaviour.
• Calm, consistent, and resilient in high-pressure situations.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed and restorative approaches.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
