Pay: £83.40 per day
About the Role
Axcis Education is proud to be working in partnership with a well-regarded Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Bristol. The school provides a nurturing environment for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Its tailored approach focuses on developing both the academic and emotional wellbeing of its pupils, offering a curriculum enriched with sensory and therapeutic activities. Requirements
We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate individual who:
• Has experience supporting children with SEMH or other SEND needs.
• Is patient, reliable, and adaptable, with a caring and supportive attitude.
• Possesses strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with school staff.
• Can confidently manage and support students with challenging behaviour, adopting a calm and proactive approach.
Ideal Candidate
If you have experience in any of the following areas, we would love to hear from you:
• Nurseries or early years settings.
• Colleges or further education environments.
• Youth clubs or similar community-focused organisations.
• Residential care or care home support roles.
• Personal experience supporting someone with SEND (e.g., a family member).
Graduates in fields such as sociology, psychology, sports, music, art and drama are also highly encouraged to apply!
Additional Information
• Hours: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Pay: £83.40 per day.
• Contract: Permanent role starting January 2025.
