Position: Full-Time Teaching Assistant
Location: Hartley
Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Pay: £14.66 per hour
About the Role: A dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant is required to support students aged 3-19 with Special Educational Needs (SEND) at a specialist school in Hartley. This full-time position involves working closely with students to provide tailored support, helping them reach their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide support to SEND students across a range of ages (3-19).
• Assist teachers with classroom activities and learning plans.
• Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
• Help manage challenging behaviours with patience and understanding.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
• Experience working with SEND students is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children and young adults with special needs.
• Relevant qualifications in SEND education are beneficial but not required.
