About the Role:
Axcis Education is delighted to be working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in West Drayton, currently seeking a dedicated and resilient SEND Teaching Assistant to join their Specialist Resource Provision (SRP).
This is a fantastic opportunity to provide meaningful and consistent support to pupils with a range of additional needs in a structured, nurturing environment.
You will be working with a small group of up to 10 pupils from Year 1 to Year 5, all of whom have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). These pupils present with a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and behavioural challenges. As part of a collaborative team—including a class teacher and experienced TAs—you will help deliver tailored learning, emotional regulation strategies, and social development support.
Key Responsibilities:
-Provide 1:1 and group support for pupils with SEND and behavioural needs
-Help create a calm, consistent learning environment
-Support with academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and classroom engagement
-Collaborate with teachers and staff to adapt activities and routines to meet individual needs
-Assist with personal development plans and behaviour strategies
-Play an active role in fostering inclusion and promoting pupil confidence
What We’re Looking For:
-Proven experience supporting children with SEND and behavioural challenges
-A calm, patient, and compassionate approach

- Strong teamwork and adaptability in a dynamic school environment

- A valid Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
?
- Team Teach certification is desirable (or a willingness to undertake training)
