Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant (Primary and Secondary)

Pay: £90.00 - £110.00 per day, PAYE (Experiance Dependant)

Highly dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant with extensive experience supporting children and young people with a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Skilled in delivering personalised learning support, fostering inclusive environments, and promoting both academic and social-emotional development. Adept at collaborating with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure each student achieves their full potential.
Key Strengths:
• Specialised SEND Support: Experienced in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Down’s Syndrome, speech and language difficulties, dyslexia, and challenging behaviours.
• One-to-One and Group Support: Skilled in providing 1:1 interventions, small group support, and in-class assistance to help students access the curriculum effectively.
• Behaviour Management: Knowledgeable in positive behaviour management strategies, de-escalation techniques, and developing behaviour plans tailored to individual needs.
• Communication & Collaboration: Strong communicator, able to liaise effectively with teachers, SENCOs, parents, and external professionals to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and therapy recommendations.
• Adaptive Learning Strategies: Experienced in differentiating teaching materials, adapting lesson plans, and employing visual aids, assistive technology, and sensory strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Personal Care & Safeguarding: Competent in supporting students with personal care needs, ensuring dignity, safety, and adherence to safeguarding policies at all times.
