Location: Wandsworth, London
Salary: £90–£100 per day
Work Schedule: Full Time, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–3:30pm
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team in the vibrant community of Wandsworth, London. You will provide tailored support to pupils with a range of learning difficulties, helping to ensure their academic and social development within a positive and inclusive school environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Assisting in the educational and social development of pupils under the guidance of the SEN coordinator and class teachers.
• Providing support for individual students inside and outside the classroom, enabling them to fully participate in activities.
• Working with other professionals to assess and support students with SEND.
• Preparing learning materials and adapting resources to meet individual student needs.
• Monitoring student progress, documenting observations and reporting to relevant staff.
• Supporting pupils with emotional or behavioural difficulties and helping to develop their social skills.

What We’re Looking For:
• Experience working with children with SEND (highly preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient, caring and adaptable demeanour
• Relevant Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent (desirable)
• Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to complete one
