We are currently recruiting for reliable and motivated SEND Teaching Assistants to provide daily supply cover in a welcoming all-through special school in Woodley. This role offers the opportunity to support pupils with a wide range of special educational needs, ensuring continuity of care and learning during staff absences.
About the Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils with a variety of complex needs across different key stages
Work alongside teachers, therapists, and support staff to deliver tailored support
Assist with classroom activities, learning tasks, and engagement
Provide personal care where required, maintaining dignity and respect at all times
Contribute to a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
Adapt confidently to different classrooms, pupils, and daily routines
About You
We are looking for individuals who:
Have experience working with children or young people with SEND (education, care, or similar settings)
Are comfortable supporting with personal care
Are flexible, dependable, and able to respond positively to new situations
Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude
Work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with staff and pupils
