Job Title: Support Worker
SEND Teaching Assistant – Harrow Pay: £90–£100 per day Start: January 2026, Monday to Friday on-going An excellent secondary school in Harrow is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of complex needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in a setting that prides itself on warmth, inclusivity, and unwavering commitment to every child’s success. About the Role You will be supporting pupils with PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties), complex medical needs, and a variety of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, including autism, communication difficulties, sensory processing needs, and physical disabilities. The role involves: • Supporting learning in a highly structured, nurturing environment • Assisting with hoisting and manual handling • Providing personal care • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation • Helping pupils develop communication, social, and life skills • Working closely with teaching staff, therapists, and medical professionals No formal education background is required. Experience in care, support work, or working with individuals with additional needs is highly beneficial.
