Situated in the heart of Cheltenham, the provision is well staffed, has small classes and is renowned as a place where pupils can thrive. Here they are taught skill such as resilience; respect, confidence and the ability to self regulate their emotions. The provision is easily accessible located close to Cheltenham train station.
There is excellent potential for progression in this school, with many staff being taken onto permanent contracts after a short period of supply work. There is excellent potential for teacher training in this school should you wish to progress your career further down the line.
You will have experience of working with students who have SEMH needs and challenging behaviour. The successful candidate will have a positive, can-do attitude and a resilient personality, with a creative and flexible approach to teaching which builds success through challenge, personalisation and innovation. If you are looking to make a positive change in the world then this is your chance. A lot of these children have had difficult home lives and have been let down many times. Those trained in Team Teach or MAPA would be at an advantage.
