The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, global developmental delay and complex learning needs. About the Role You will be teaching primary-aged pupils with SEND, delivering lessons that are highly differentiated, practical and engaging. The role will involve working closely with Teaching Assistants, the SENCO and wider school team to ensure pupils are supported academically, emotionally and socially. You will: • Plan and deliver personalised lessons for pupils with a range of SEND needs • Support pupils with autism, communication needs and developmental delay • Use visual supports, structured routines and practical learning activities • Lead and guide Teaching Assistants within the classroom • Support pupils with emotional regulation, engagement and independence • Contribute to EHCP targets, progress reviews and parent communication What We’re Looking For • QTS / QTLS, or strong SEND teaching experience • Experience teaching pupils with autism or complex needs • Confidence delivering differentiated and practical lessons • Strong classroom management and calm leadership • Ability to work closely with TAs, SENCOs and families • Commitment to a full-time, long-term role from September This is an excellent role for a SEND Teacher who wants to work in a school where inclusion is embedded into daily practice.
