Teaching Assistant - Global Delay - KS1 - Primary - Salford - Salford - Role: SEND TA Jobs
Axcis Education is proud to be working alongside a fantastic Salford based primary school that is looking for an experience SEND teaching assistant to join them from December until the end of the academic year.
The ideal teaching assistant will have some experience of supporting primary aged students with Global Delay. Further experience of supporting students on a 1:1 basis and a knowledge of how to engage and motivate is essential.
As the teaching assistant will be working with a child with Global Delay on a 1:1 basis, there will be a level of speech & language and sensory input, so an understanding of this would be very desirable.
This lovely Salford primary school is in the heart of its local community. Strong senior leaders ensure that all children are catered for and there is s strong inclusive feeling across the school. The school is easy to get to from Manchester, Bolton, Bury & Wigan - both public transport and by car.
This is a full-time role that will run until the end of the academic year. There is potential for the ideal teaching assistant to be taken onto a contract direct with the school.
