Job Title: Teaching Assistant - SEND High School
Start Date: September 2025 Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term Axcis Education is working with a specialist secondary school in Manchester, to recruit a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant for a long-term role starting this September. The school supports students aged 11–19 with a range of special educational needs, including autism and moderate learning difficulties, with a strong focus on life skills and vocational learning. This is a rewarding role where you’ll support students in and out of the classroom, helping them access learning, build independence, and develop confidence. You’ll work closely with teaching staff and may support pupils one-to-one or in small groups. Personal care duties may be required depending on student needs. The ideal candidate will be patient, adaptable, and passionate about working with young people with additional needs. Experience is helpful but not essential. The school is easily accessible by public transport and also offers free on-site parking for those who drive. Pay per day - £95-100 depending on experience.
