Job Advert: Teaching Assistant (SEND) - KS2 Position: Teaching Assistant (SEND) Location: Widnes Start Date: September 2024 Employment Type: Full-time, Long-term Working Hours: Monday to Friday Axcis are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to work with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a Key Stage 2 (KS2) class. This is a full-time, long-term position starting in September, with working hours from Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities: • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with SEND. • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored educational activities. • Develop and implement individualized learning plans. • Support students' social and emotional development. • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to monitor and report on student progress. • Help create an inclusive and positive learning environment.
