Location: Harrogate Hours: 8 AM - 4 PM, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only) Start Date: September Type: Permanent Company: Axcis (Hiring on behalf of the school) Job Description: Axcis is excited to announce that we are recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded school in Harrogate for a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about education and looking to make a real difference in students' lives. The role will commence in September and will be a permanent position. Key Responsibilities: Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons. Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom resources. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help. Supervise students during break times and other non-classroom activities. Help maintain a safe and positive learning environment. Monitor and record student progress and provide feedback to the teacher. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required. Requirements: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
