Salary: £90 – £100 per day (dependent on experience)
Are you an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a vibrant and supportive school environment? We are currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join a well-resourced, three-form entry primary school in Bournemouth as a full-time Teaching Assistant, starting in September 2025.
The Role:
This is a varied and rewarding position within a Year 3 class, offering both 1:1 support and general classroom assistance. A key part of the role involves providing one-to-one support for a pupil with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), helping them access the curriculum, stay engaged in learning activities, and build confidence. In addition, you will support the wider class under the guidance of the class teacher, contributing to the delivery of high-quality teaching and creating an inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with ASC, following individual education and behaviour plans.
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and supporting group activities.
Support pupils' academic, emotional, and social development.
Encourage positive behaviour and contribute to a nurturing classroom atmosphere.
Work collaboratively with teachers, the SENDCo, and other professionals to ensure every child thrives.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, particularly in Key Stage 2.
Experience supporting pupils with ASC or similar special educational needs.
A compassionate, proactive, and patient approach to working with children.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A commitment to supporting the school's inclusive values and high standards.
