Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant – Reception (Full-Time)
Location: L30 | Start Date: September | Contract Type: Full-Time (Mon–Fri, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM)
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in L30 is seeking a nurturing and reliable 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their Reception class this September. This full-time role involves providing dedicated support to a child with additional needs, helping them to thrive in their early learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver consistent 1:1 support to a Reception-aged child with additional needs
Assist with academic, social, and emotional development in line with the EYFS curriculum
Support the child in accessing learning through adapted resources and personalised strategies
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor and support progress
Help create a calm, positive and inclusive classroom environment
Support with personal care, if required, with respect and sensitivity
Requirements:
Previous experience supporting children in EYFS or Reception
A calm, patient, and caring approach
Experience with SEND (desirable but not essential)
Willingness to undertake training including safeguarding and personal care
