Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant – Reception (Part-Time Mornings)
Location: L30 | Start Date: September | Contract Type: Part-Time (Mon–Fri, 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM)
Are you looking for a part-time role that makes a real difference? A supportive primary school in L30 is looking for a compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide morning support in Reception, starting this September.
You’ll be working 5 mornings per week, supporting a child with additional needs as they begin their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide focused 1:1 support in a Reception classroom during the morning sessions
Assist with learning activities and help the child stay engaged and included
Implement support strategies in line with EYFS and the child’s individual plan
Foster a positive, secure relationship that supports emotional and social development
Liaise with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt strategies as needed
Requirements:
Experience supporting children in early years or KS1 settings
A warm, consistent, and supportive approach
SEND experience is desirable but not essential
Flexibility and a genuine passion for helping young children thrive
