Hours: 08:30–15:30, Monday–Friday
Axcis Education is searching for a full-time Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEMH needs in a specialist primary school in Andover. This Teaching Assistant role is ideal for candidates eager to develop their skills in SEMH, SEND support, and primary education.
Role Overview:
• Support children with SEMH needs across the classroom
• Assist teaching staff with tailored learning activities and behaviour support
• Help pupils develop emotional regulation, confidence, and social skills
• Create a calm, safe, and positive learning environment
• Contribute to the school’s therapeutic and child-centred approach
What We’re Looking For:
• Professional or personal experience working with SEND or young people is desirable
• Calm, patient, and empathetic attitude
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach
