SEN Teaching Assistant – 1:1 ASD Support (KS1) Location: Hillingdon, Uxbridge Hours: Monday to Friday | 08:30am – 4:00pm Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term (Potential for Permanent Role) Make a Real Difference in a Child’s Early Education Axcis Education is recruiting an experienced and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a well-regarded mainstream primary school in Hillingdon, Uxbridge. This full-time role involves providing 1:1 support for a Year 1 pupil with Autism (ASD). The successful candidate will have strong experience supporting children with Autism and ADHD within a mainstream setting and be confident managing challenging behaviour. The school is looking for someone who can be firm but fair — able to set clear, consistent boundaries while maintaining a calm, patient, and nurturing approach. This is a rewarding opportunity to have a lasting impact on a child’s development, with the potential for the role to become permanent following the initial year.
