About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and proactive 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 5 pupil at a leading private school in West London.
The pupil has ADHD and ASD and benefits from consistent guidance and gentle, structured support throughout the school day. This role focuses on helping the pupil stay organised, manage transitions, and build positive social relationships.

Key Responsibilities
-Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a Year 5 pupil with ADHD and ASD
-Support organisation of belongings, timetable, and schoolwork
-Offer calm, consistent guidance to reinforce positive behaviour
-Encourage and support healthy peer relationships and social development
-Assist with focus, transitions, and daily classroom routines
-Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and parents
-Promote confidence, independence, and emotional regulation
Requirements
-Experience supporting primary-aged pupils with ADHD and/or ASD
-Strong communication and relationship-building skills
-Patient, calm, and consistent approach
-Experience supporting organisation, focus, and social development
-Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
-Previous experience in a primary or SEN setting (highly desirable)
