Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Axcis Education are seeking a teaching assistant to work with children across a four-form entry school, located in Rugby. The school was awarded a ‘Good’ OFSTED rating and has a supportive, welcoming environment.
This is a full-time position starting in September 2026, with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate. The pay starts from £14.25 per hour. The role will involve supporting pupils with additional needs who benefit from consistency, patience, and a strong, calm presence.
The Role:
• Working across a four-form entry primary school
• Working with children in Key Stage 2 (KS2)
• Supporting pupils with communication and interaction needs, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
• Providing consistent, patient support to help pupils access learning and achieve positive outcomes
Requirements:
• Previous experience supporting children or young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
• A caring and patient character, able to foster positive and meaningful relationships with all pupils
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
• Availability to work 8:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
