What You'll Be Doing As a Teaching Assistant, you may: - Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs. - Support small groups within the classroom. - Help pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and other SEND. - Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation. - Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals. - Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment. What We're Looking For Applicants should have: - At least 6 months' experience supporting children or young people with SEND. - A patient, caring, and proactive approach. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Availability to work Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm during term time. - The ability to travel to schools in the Chorley (PR6) area. - The right to work in the UK. Please note: Overseas-trained candidates are welcome to apply; however, applicants must have a minimum of 3 months' experience working within a UK school or education setting.
