Location: Feltham, with good transport links from Hounslow West and Feltham Station Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30am–3:30pm | Friday, 8:30am–3:00pm Start Date: October 2026 Trials: ASAP Contract: Full-Time We are seeking a dedicated, resilient and confident Behavioural Teaching Assistant to join a Secondary Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Feltham, starting in October 2026. The school is looking to arrange trials as soon as possible. This is a full-time opportunity supporting secondary-aged students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviour. The Role Supporting students with SEMH needs Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour Supporting students both academically and emotionally Working closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams Building positive and consistent relationships with students Helping to create a safe, structured and positive learning environment The Ideal Candidate Previous experience in a PRU, alternative provision, SEND setting or secondary school Experience supporting secondary-aged students with SEMH needs Strong experience managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour A calm, patient, resilient and consistent approach An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service Available to trial ASAP and start the role in October 2026 Location This is a great opportunity to join a supportive provision in Feltham.
