About the Role: • Classroom Support – Work with secondary-aged pupils in small class sizes of around 8 students, providing personalised support to meet their SEMH needs. • Specialist Setting – This school is part of a wider trust that offers regular trust-wide training, including Team Teach and de-escalation strategies, ensuring you are well equipped to support students with behavioural challenges. • Full-Time Role – Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, term-time only. Permanent opportunities may be available for the right candidates. Key Responsibilities: • Support students with SEMH in both their academic and personal development. • Collaborate with teaching staff and the pastoral team to foster a safe and nurturing environment. • Implement positive behaviour strategies, including those taught through Team Teach. • Build strong, consistent relationships with students to help them re-engage in education and develop essential life skills.
