Job Title: Year 4 Teacher
Are you an experienced primary school teacher with a passion for supporting children with additional needs? We have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to join a welcoming primary school in Mitcham, South London, to cover a Year 4 class until July 2025. The Role: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled teacher to provide much-needed stability for a Year 4 class that has experienced a disrupted term and a half. The class includes: A couple of children with SEN/SEMH (Special Educational Needs and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs). A child with specific medical needs requiring additional support. You will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment, delivering high-quality lessons, and supporting every child to achieve their potential. Key Requirements: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience working with children with SEN/SEMH and/or medical needs. A proven track record of providing a positive impact in a classroom setting. Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to adapt teaching to meet diverse needs.
