Job Title: Year 5 Qualified Teacher Location: Wandsworth, London Position Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM Salary: Paid to Scale Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Qualified Teacher to join our vibrant school community in Wandsworth, London. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment that motivates and inspires students. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the national curriculum. • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development. • Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and collaboration. • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and share best practices. • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student performance and development. • Participate in professional development opportunities to continually improve teaching skills. Qualifications: • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably in Year 5. • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and educational best practices. • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. • A passion for fostering a love of learning in students.
