Job Title: Youth Mental Health Support Worker
We are proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Odd Down area of Bath. The school has a specialist resource base supporting children with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, and they’re looking for someone who can make a real difference to their pupils’ lives.
About the Role:
This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible or from September, depending on your availability. The role offers a daily rate of £89 and has the potential to become permanent after an initial settling-in period.
What We’re Looking For:
You don’t need formal experience or qualifications—what matters most is your personality and motivation. If you’re patient, empathetic, and genuinely passionate about supporting vulnerable children, you could be the perfect fit.
You’ll be working closely with primary-aged pupils who may find it challenging to manage their emotions or engage with learning in a traditional way. Your role will involve building trust, offering encouragement, and helping them develop the confidence and skills they need to thrive.
Why This Role Matters:
The school is committed to providing a nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported. They believe in the power of positive relationships and tailored support to help pupils overcome barriers to learning. By joining their team, you’ll be playing a vital role in helping children grow emotionally and socially.
