We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant (SEMH) to join a supportive school in Salford. This role is available to start immediately and offers a fantastic opportunity to support children with social, emotional and mental health needs in both classroom and small group settings. As a Teaching Assistant (SEMH), you will play a vital role in creating a safe, positive, and nurturing learning environment. You’ll work closely with teachers, supporting pupils to overcome barriers to learning, building strong relationships, and encouraging positive behaviour. The ideal candidate for this Teaching Assistant (SEMH) role will be patient, resilient, and able to adapt their approach to meet the individual needs of students. Previous experience in SEMH support is desirable, but a caring and committed attitude is essential. This is a full-time, temporary contract with working hours of 8.30 – 3.30, offering a daily rate of £89 - £120.
