Job Title: ASD Teaching Assistant
ASD Teaching Assistant (Independent school in Sutton) Are you committed, patient and passionate about supporting young people with autism? A specialist independent day school in Sutton is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join its dedicated and nurturing team. This school provides a calm, quiet and low-arousal environment designed to meet the needs of autistic young people. With very small class sizes, sensory-friendly classrooms and an individually tailored curriculum, the school creates a safe and positive space where pupils can learn, grow and thrive. The team has extensive experience working with young people who may have been out of education or who are anxious about attending school. Staff work closely with families and professionals to support re-engagement with learning and help pupils build confidence, independence and friendships.
