Job Title: Behavioural Management Teaching Assistant
Axcis are looking to appoint a teaching assistant with experience working in a primary school setting. The school is based in the Preston area, in Lancashire and caters for students aged 4 – 11 years old. The school, is Ofsted graded “good” and has “outstanding” praise for behaviour management. The staff in school are welcoming and inclusive and they are seeking a hard working teaching assistant to join their growing team. The school is based in Chorley and is accessible via public transport as well as having a large on site car park. The role will be full time, predominantly working with students who have additional needs, challenging behaviour or require extra support. Due to the pandemic, some students have fallen behind in class and require some additional help in class to enable them to access the curriculum successfully. The role will be long term, for the full academic year and school hours are 8.45am – 3.15pm Monday – Friday. The candidate, should be, hard working, a team player, understanding and have some experience ideally working in schools before. Experience working with children is essential and you must have some experience or an understanding, of working with children who have additional needs.
