Salary: £95.00 to £105.00 per day, experiance dependant
About the Role:
Are you passionate about supporting children in their learning and development? We are seeking a dedicated Classroom-Based Teaching Assistant to work across Primary school settings, supporting pupils and teachers to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic, nurturing, and committed to helping children reach their full potential—whether you’re supporting whole-class learning, small intervention groups, or individual pupils.
Key Responsibilities
• Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of engaging and age-appropriate lessons
• Working with small groups or 1:1 to reinforce learning and support progress
• Assisting pupils with varying learning needs, including SEND where required
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Supporting children with personal care where necessary
• Supervising pupils during activities, breaktimes, and transitions
The Ideal Candidate
• Experience working with children in a Primary school or educational setting (desirable but not essential)
• A caring, patient, and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are advantageous but not required
