Axcis Education are eager to recruit a cover supervisor for a role in the Skelmersdale area. We are working with a large secondary school, based in Skelmersdale, West Lancashire and they are urgently looking to recruit a cover supervisor to help cover lessons. The school, is a large secondary provision and some of the students who attend this school have additional needs. On the whole, behaviour in school is good, although some classes can be a bit more challenging than others and some of the students you will be teaching, will have learning difficulties and/or ADHD. The school are looking for an experienced cover supervisor, or a teaching assistant looking to step up into a cover supervisor role, to start as soon as possible. The role, is full time and school hours are 830am - 330pm Monday - Friday, the school may also consider part time applicants providing you can work a full day. The role will require you to work across all age groups, delivering pre-set work, to a range of students and assisting pupils on a small group basis when you're not required to cover lessons. The candidate, should be hard working, confident and have some experience working with secondary aged students. Ideally, the candidate will also have experience leading lessons and experience working with students with special educational needs. Pay for this role starts at £12.83 per hour and works upwards, dependent on experience.
