Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Position: Cover Supervisor Location: Secondary Schools – Bury & Greater Manchester Type: Full-Time Pay: Subject to experience and qualifications About the Role Axcis Education is expanding its dedicated and confident pool of candidates, to deliver cover lessons in Secondary Schools. This would be a great opportunity for candidates that want to gain real hands on experience to support future roles in teaching. This role would suit candidates with a degree in a subject area, or proven experience in the classroom. You’ll play a vital role in supporting the curriculum by delivering classes, delivering 1:1 intervention or group work. Your Responsibilities Will Include: -Delivering lessons -Leading or supporting small group interventions focused on core subjects -Ensuring a safe and calm learning environment -Remove barriers to learning. -Applying reasonable adjustments to support SEND learners. -Using de-escalation techniques and consistently applying the schools reward and behaviour policy. -Encouraging positive peer interactions and building social communication skills -Promoting emotional regulation and resilience through consistency and structured routines About Our partner Schools Our schools are mainstream settings that create supportive, nurturing, and inclusive environments that prioritise emotional wellbeing alongside academic success.
