Job Title: Cover Teaching Assistant
Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work where you can truly make an impact? Axcis Education is seeking a committed and resilient individual to provide cover support at a specialist school in Reading.
About the Role
In this position, you’ll work closely with pupils of varying ages who have profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), autism, and other complex needs. The role involves:
Providing one-to-one support tailored to each pupil
Assisting with personal care
Encouraging engagement in learning and daily activities
Managing challenging behaviours with confidence and patience
Key Details
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Location: Reading
Pay: From £92.63 per day (PAYE)
Flexibility to work at short notice is essential
