We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and compassionate graduates that would love to use any transferrable skills and work as teaching assistants in the Liverpool area. We have many schools that are eager to recruit graduates, including but not limited to: social care, English literature, psychology, education etc. Individuals that would be interested in working in the education sector as teaching assistants and who would show initiative and have a positive attitude when supporting those with special educational needs would be considered. These education settings include: • Mainstream schools • Pupil referral units • Alternative provision • Primary and secondary schools In these rolls you will be supporting children who have a range of special educational needs so the ideal candidate will need to have experience working or studying in a relevant area/field. There are a wide variety of positions available with Axcis and experience in all areas or directly in a classroom setting is not essential. If you have relevant professional or personal experience, then we want to hear from you! What we need from you: • At least 6 months personal or professional experience supporting adults or children with special educational needs. OR A certified qualification in a relevant area- education, psychology, drama etc • A graduate teaching assistant with a patient, compassionate and positive attitude. • Flexibility to work in school hours- contracts are usually 8:30am until 3-4:30pm depending on the school. • Ability to reliably commute to settings either by driving or public transport.
