Job Title: Key Stage 2 Teacher - Torbay
Axcis Education are working closely to support a well-regarded mainstream primary school in Torbay, who require passionate full time Key Stage 2 Teacher from Monday 1st June 2026 to lead a Year 5 and 6 class. This is delivering subjects across the national curriculum. The hours are 8.30-16.00, and the rate of pay will be between £175-£250 a day, depending on previous experience and qualifications and reflective of Main Pay Scale experience.
About the Role:
• Start date: June 2026 (After Half Term), or as close to.
• Days: Monday to Friday (Full Time - maternity cover)
• Location: Torbay, Devon
• Setting: Mainstream Primary.
• Salary: Paid against Main Pay Scale for Qualified for Unqualified Teachers (Daily Equivalent)
Requirements:
• Experience working with students in Year 5 and 6.
• Ability to build positive, supportive relationships with students
• Confidence in managing behaviour and delivering learning in a creative, flexible way
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required for this role.
