An established primary school in Bridport is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to join its committed team of staff. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils
- Employ a range of effective teaching strategies to promote progress and achievement
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and external partners
- Monitor and assess pupil attainment, using data to inform planning and intervention
- Contribute to the development of the curriculum and participate fully in the wider life of the school
- Foster an inclusive, respectful, and aspirational classroom culture in which every child can thrive
The candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
- Proven experience of teaching primary-aged pupils effectively
- A thorough understanding of safeguarding procedures and a strong commitment to pupil welfare
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- A reflective and adaptable practitioner, committed to ongoing professional development
- A positive, caring, and resilient approach to supporting children’s learning and well-being
