Job Title: KS2 Teacher
Full-Time KS2 SEND Teacher (QTS) – October 2026 Start Mainstream Primary School – Hounslow A welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in Hounslow is seeking an experienced and passionate KS2 SEND Teacher (QTS) to join its specialist SEND provision on a full-time basis from October 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a specialist setting embedded in a mainstream school, supporting Key Stage 2 pupils with communication and interaction needs, most of whom have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). The provision offers a highly nurturing and structured learning environment, with small class sizes and a strong staff-to-pupil ratio to ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive. The Provision Includes: A small KS2 class of pupils with SEND needs Pupils primarily with communication and interaction needs, including ASC A highly supportive team of Teaching Assistants Additional 1:1 support where required Strong leadership and SEND support across the school The Successful Candidate Will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Have extensive experience supporting children with ASC and communication and interaction needs Have strong KS2 teaching experience Be able to create a nurturing, structured, and engaging learning environment Differentiate learning effectively to meet a range of needs and abilities Work collaboratively with support staff, families, and external professionals Be proactive, flexible, and committed to inclusive education The School Offers: A warm, supportive, and welcoming team Small class sizes and excellent support staff ratios A well-established SEND provision within a mainstream setting Opportunities to contribute to the ongoing development of SEND practice across the school Paid to scale Full-time role, Monday to Friday October 2026 start Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a trial session within the provision, as the school believes the best way to assess teaching is through seeing practice in action.
