Job Title: KS2 Teacher
KS2 Primary Teacher – Ashtead, Surrey – September 2026 Start
We are currently recruiting for a KS2 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive mainstream primary school in Ashtead, Surrey, starting September 2026.
This is a full-time teaching role (Monday to Friday), suitable for both an experienced Primary Teacher and an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to develop within a nurturing, pupil-led environment.
The Role:
Full classroom responsibility within Key Stage 2 (KS2)
Planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum
Supporting pupil progress, attainment and independence
Creating a positive, inclusive and structured classroom environment
Encouraging resilience, curiosity and a love of learning
Adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learners
Requirements:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent – essential
Open to both experienced teachers and ECTs
Previous experience in a UK primary school setting (or placements for ECTs)
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
A patient, nurturing and pupil-led approach to teaching
Understanding and commitment to supporting individual learning needs
