Job Title: lead midday supervisor
Position: Lead Midday Supervisor Location: Sutton Hours: Part Time Monday to Friday Here at Axcis, we are looking for a lead midday supervisor to join a primary school in Sutton, to supervisor children during the break. The role is lead and manage a team of midday supervisors in the supervision and care of pupils during the lunchtime period. You will be responsible for ensuring that the lunchtime environment is safe, supportive, and enjoyable for all students, fostering positive behaviour and a calm atmosphere. Key Responsibilities: • Lead, supervise, and support a team of midday supervisors in their daily duties. • Ensure all children are properly supervised during lunchtime, both in the dining area and in the playground. • Support children who need assistance with eating, encouraging good table manners and promoting healthy eating habits. • Oversee the smooth transition of children between the dining hall and outdoor areas. • Address any behavioural issues promptly, applying the school’s policies and procedures. • Ensure that pupils are safe and well-cared for during the lunch break. • Support children with special educational needs or additional support requirements as needed. • Assist in organising and leading structured play activities in the playground.
