Job Title: Learning Support Assistant - Primary
Axcis Education are excited to offer a Learning Support Assistant role in the Bath area. The role is working at a lovely mainstream primary school on a 1:1 basis with a student who has autism and ADHD. The school is well-resourced and has a fantastic atmosphere upon entering the grounds with staff who are ready to welcome agency staff as their own. This role would be perfect for someone who is friendly, patient and positive. Working hours for this role are between 8.30 to 3.30 and the daily rate of pay is £93.48. Responsibilities include: - Keeping the student engaged with their school work to maintain their academic progress - Ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for the students to work in by listening and understanding their individual needs - Working with the teachers and wider school staff towards the student’s individual Educational Healthcare Plans (EHCPs) The successful candidate will have a positive, can-do attitude and a resilient personality, with a creative and flexible approach which builds success through challenge, personalisation and innovation. Requirements for this role include a passion for supporting students with SEND, strong communication and written English skills, Right to Work in UK and an enhanced DBS on the update service.
