Learning support Assistant
• Location: White city, London (W12)
• Salary: £92 – 96 per day (PAYE)
• Full-time – 8:30am – 4pm – Monday to Friday
Axcis Education is looking for a caring Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work in a specialist school in White City, supporting students with severe learning disabilities and complex needs. The school offers a nurturing and supportive environment for children and young people aged 5 to 19.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with severe learning disabilities, challenging behaviour and complex needs.
• Assist with personal care (Feeding and Toileting)
• Work closely with teaching staff to implement personalized learning plans.
• Ensure the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of students throughout the school day.
Skills and Experience Required:
• Experience as a Learning support Assistant healthcare, care roles, or working with children with SEND is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
• Patient, empathetic, and passionate about supporting students' development.
• Flexible and proactive approach to working in a dynamic environment.
