Hours: Full-time, Mon-Fri?8:00?am – 3:30?pm

Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our vibrant classroom team in Kingston. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to provide targeted support that enhances the educational experience of pupils with additional learning needs, ensuring inclusion and progress for every child.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist the class teacher in delivering differentiated lessons and activities.
• Provide one-to-one or small-group support, reinforcing concepts and fostering independence.
• Implement and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies.
• Prepare learning materials, adapt resources, and maintain a safe, organised environment.
• Record observations and report progress to teachers and senior staff.
• Liaise with parents and external professionals as directed, maintaining confidentiality.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics; Level?3 qualification in Learning Support or related field preferred.
• Experience supporting children with SEND (Special Educational Needs) in a school setting.
• Strong communication, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
• Excellent organisational skills, reliability, and a commitment to safeguarding standards.
