Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Mainstream Primary School (Surrey) – September 2026 Start
We are delighted to be working with a welcoming, inclusive and forward-thinking mainstream primary school in Surrey, who are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team from September 2026.
This is a full-time role (Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm), offering the opportunity to be part of a supportive and nurturing school community that places pupils at the centre of everything they do. The school follows a therapeutic, pupil-led approach, making it an ideal setting for someone who is passionate about making a real difference in children’s lives.

The Role:
Provide classroom support, working closely with teachers and pupils
Support learning, engagement, and behaviour management
Deliver 1:1 and small group support, including for pupils with SEN
Help create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
Be adaptable and ready to support across the school as needed

Nurturing, caring and patient
Passionate about working with children and making a difference
Understanding of SEN needs, including supporting pupils with challenging behaviours
Flexible and adaptable, with a proactive “give it a go” attitude
Comfortable using technology, including laptops and Google apps
A strong team player with good communication skills
Salary:
£92.63 per day (PAYE)
