Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
Learning Support Assistant (KS1) – Mainstream Primary School | Surrey | September 2026
We are currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in Surrey, starting in September 2026.
This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role, working from 8:30am – 3:30pm, supporting pupils within a KS1 classroom and helping them engage positively with their learning.
The Role:
Supporting the class teacher within a KS1 classroom
Providing one-to-one and small-group support where required, including SEN pupils
Assisting with learning activities and classroom organisation
Helping pupils develop their confidence, independence and engagement
Promoting a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
Previous experience working in a UK primary school is essential
Experience supporting children with additional needs would be advantageous
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A proactive, patient and supportive approach
Ability to work effectively as part of a classroom team
Salary:
£97 per day PAYE
