The Role:
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Lunch/Midday Cover Supervisor to support our students during lunchtime. You will be responsible for supervising students, assisting them with eating where needed, and helping serve and clear away plates and food. You will ensure students remain safe, happy, and engaged throughout the midday period.
Key Responsibilities:
-Supervise students during lunchtime and midday breaks.
-Assist students with eating, where required.
-Serve and clear away food and plates.
-Support students with special needs in a safe and structured environment.
-Encourage positive interactions and engagement in activities.
-Follow school policies and procedures for health, safety, and behaviour management.
-Liaise with teaching and support staff as required.
Requirements:
-Experience working with children or young people, ideally in a special needs environment.
-Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
-Ability to manage groups of students and maintain a safe environment.
-Flexibility, reliability, and a willingness to assist with feeding and mealtime support.
