Job Title: MLD Teaching assistant

Here at Axcis Education, we're looking for a passionate and patient MLD Teaching Assistant to join and amazing secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. Key Responsibilities: - Provide tailored support to students with MLD, enabling them to access the curriculum and achieve their personal goals. - Work closely with teachers to plan and adapt lessons that meet the diverse needs of each student. - Employ a range of strategies to promote positive behaviour and engagement within the classroom.. - Foster a nurturing and safe learning environment where children feel valued and heard. - Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in MLD education. About You: - Experience working with children or young adults, particularly those with MLD or special educational needs. - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with students and collaborate with team members. - Patience, compassion, and a genuine desire to contribute to the educational and personal growth of students. - A proactive and creative approach to teaching and problem-solving. - Relevant qualifications in education or special educational needs are desirable. - Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all children.
