Job Title: Nursery Nurse
Axcis Education are currently working with a welcoming nursery in Blackburn who are seeking a Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their team . This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and enthusiastic individual with a Level 2 qualification in Childcare to support young children in their early years’ development.
The nursery prides itself on providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged to explore and learn.
The Opportunity:
• Role: Part-Time Nursery Teaching Assistant
• Location: Blackburn
• Requirement: Level 2 qualification in Childcare (essential)
• Hours: 8am – 4pm
• Pay: £13.69 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
• Support children’s learning and development through play and structured activities.
• Assist with daily routines, ensuring children are safe, happy, and engaged.
• Work alongside the nursery staff to deliver a high standard of care in line with EYFS guidance.
• Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
• Attend to children’s personal care needs when required.
What We’re Looking For:
• Level 2 Childcare qualification (essential)
• Previous experience working in an early years or nursery setting.
• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
