Job Title: Primary School Teacher SEND
Primary Teacher – 2 Week Supply | ASD Base | West Molesey Location: West Molesey, Surrey Start Date: Week commencing 14th September 2026 Contract: 2-week supply cover, with potential to continue Hours: School hours, Monday–Friday, Term Time Only Pay: £150–£180 per day PAYE, dependent on experience Primary Teacher – ASD Base We are recruiting for a Primary Teacher to provide two weeks of supply cover within an ASD base at a mainstream primary school in West Molesey. The role would suit a qualified teacher with previous experience supporting pupils with SEND, particularly Autism/ASD. The school is also open to teachers with a strong mainstream primary background who are confident adapting their teaching to meet individual needs. The initial booking is for two weeks from the week commencing 14th September, with the potential for the role to continue on a longer-term or full-time basis if the successful teacher makes a good impression and is a good fit for the school. The Role As the class teacher, you will: Deliver engaging and appropriately differentiated lessons Support pupils with ASD and a range of individual learning needs Adapt teaching and communication approaches to suit individual pupils Establish positive relationships and provide consistent classroom routines Maintain effective behaviour and classroom management Work closely with Teaching Assistants and other school staff Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development Follow existing planning and school systems to ensure continuity during the supply period About the School Mainstream primary school with a dedicated ASD base Supportive leadership team and collaborative staff Inclusive approach to teaching and learning Well-resourced classrooms and learning environments Strong focus on pupil progress, wellbeing and inclusion Forward-thinking Google School, with technology embedded throughout teaching and learning Staff regularly use Google Classroom, so confidence using the platform, or the ability to quickly learn and adapt to it, is desirable Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Previous experience teaching within a UK primary school Experience supporting pupils with SEND/ASD is desirable Good knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum Strong classroom and behaviour management skills Ability to differentiate and adapt teaching to meet individual needs Calm, patient and adaptable approach Strong communication and organisational skills Confidence using Google Classroom, or willingness to learn Reliable and professional approach What We Offer Immediate 2-week supply opportunity Opportunity to gain experience working within an ASD base in a mainstream primary school Potential for the role to continue beyond the initial two weeks Scope for a longer-term/full-time position for the right candidate Supportive school environment Ongoing support from a dedicated education recruitment team Apply Today If you are a Primary Teacher, SEND Teacher, ASD Teacher, KS1 Teacher, KS2 Teacher or experienced Supply Teacher looking for a short-term opportunity with potential to develop into a longer-term position in West Molesey, Surrey, we would love to hear from you.
